Whether you are having a small or large wedding, the seating plan will be an integral part of your big day. We know - we've been there!
Although we specialise in creating bespoke wedding jewellery in our LLandeilo boutique, we can also share our tips for arranging the right seating plan for your wedding.
1> Accept you may want to arrange a seating plan different to any you have been to before. But that is OK. It is your wedding so you can arrange a seating plan to suit the numbers, venue and attendees.
2> Ease of access..take into account access for elderly or children who may find stairs or tight spaces tricky. Someone may require a bit of an extra leg room so do bear this in mind.
3> Children will invariably require lots of trips to the toilet so you may want to consider positioning them (and their grown-up) near the loos. They will thank you for it.
4> Your wedding guests could be seated for a few hours so make sure you get the right balance for a happy harmonious wedding.
5> Normally the Bride and Groom sit in the middle of the wedding top table then the Bride's parents, the Groom's parents and finally by the Best Man and Chief Bridesmaid.
6> But...don't feel you have to stick with this wedding seating plan. If your family has separated partners you may prefer to create your own style. The Bride and Groom could sit with friends, or appoint each couple from the main wedding party to 'head' their own table.
7> What ever you do, do it for your wedding and what feels right. And have a great day!
